JUNE 2009: We are in the process of rebuilding the new studio for Cleancut Records. You can help with this worthwhile project, by purchasing through this website, five great albums produced by Norwood "Spuckey" Gant. I can honestly say that repeated listening to this music will improve your life! The messages in these songs are powerful and speak to the heart. The music is beautiful and inspirational. Tell your friends! Help bring great music to the world. - Carl Mack

MAY 2009: With the help of friends, we secured a long term lease on a building near New Orleans' historic French Quarter, and we began constructing four isolation booths, and a large control room for the dozen or so keyboards and electronic drum machines. We purchased from a studio in Los Angeles an historic recording console (that recorded both Madonna and Michael Jackson), and with the help of nine big men, carried it into the new home of Cleancut Records. Using the resources of my talent agency, Carl Mack Presents, we have begun the process of auditioning new artists for the upcoming rebirth of Cleancut Records. - Carl Mack

APRIL 2009: I met Norwood Gant in his FEMA trailer recording studio in the spring of 2009. Hurricane Katrina had destroyed his studio that had produced great albums Louisiana artists such as Norman Gilchrist, Denise "Neecy" Williams, Crystal Colombo, Miss Emma, and songs for the Boyd Brothers and Yasha. Upon realizing that these great singers were not only recorded by Norwood, but that he had composed all the music, played the instruments, arranged the music and recorded it beautifully, I decided to step up to the plate to help him resurrect his record label, Cleancut Records, and to help him to rebuild his studio. - Carl Mack, President Carl Mack Presents
